A TOMI vai dinamizar o Bairro Comercial Digital da Nazaré
A TOMI ganhou os concursos para a implementação do Bairro Comercial Digital da Nazaré, no âmbito do Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência (PRR). O projeto que já se encontra em desenvolvimento, vai equipar o concelho com soluções tecnológicas inovadoras – como TOMI’s, Infospots, Sala de Controlo e Cacifos Digitais – e criar novas plataformas digitais, que incluem um Marketplace, Website e aplicação móvel (App). O objetivo é modernizar e digitalizar o comércio local, reforçando a ligação entre comerciantes consumidores e turistas, contribuindo para a dinamização da economia do concelho.
O Bairro Comercial Digital da Nazaré contará com a instalação de equipamentos desenvolvidos pela TOMI: os TOMI’s e os Infospots. Os TOMI’s distinguem-se pela capacidade de, de modo interativo, multilíngue, inclusivo e acessível, disponibilizar 24/07 informação e serviços úteis em tempo real, promover e disponibilizar acesso ao comércio local e divulgar eventos e atividades do bairro e ainda promover a mobilidade local. Já os Infospots oferecem novas funcionalidades, como a apresentação de horários e linhas de transportes públicos, disponibilidade de lugares de estacionamento e indicações para os encontrar, avisos e alertas, sugestões de destino e difusão de conteúdos multimédia, incluindo vídeos, campanhas promocionais e iniciativas culturais. Estes painéis são também multilíngues, acessíveis e inclusivos e, tal como os TOMI’s, incluem câmeras e tecnologia proprietária da TOMI, que permite detetar, contar e classificar pessoas e veículos, gerando dados em tempo real, que permitem, programaticamente e manualmente, comunicar de forma oportuna, efetiva e consequente.
Estes equipamentos serão complementados por uma sala de controlo, para gestão centralizada dos dispositivos e plataformas tecnológicas, assim como, a visualização e consulta dos dados de audiência, interação, divulgação, transações, encomendas, reservas e muito mais, de forma direta e correlacionada, de acordo com a estratégia definida pela Gestão do Bairro. Serão também colocados cacifos digitais, que permitem entregas e recolhas de encomendas de forma prática e segura, dentro do ecossistema comercial do Bairro.
Em paralelo, a TOMI está a desenvolver três plataformas digitais para o Bairro Comercial Digital da Nazaré, são elas: o Marketplace da Nazaré, uma montra online para o comércio local que permite a aquisição de produtos e serviços; um Website, que reunirá notícias, eventos e pontos de interesse na Nazaré; e uma aplicação móvel (App), que permitirá uma maior proximidade entre comerciantes, residentes e turistas. Os TOMI’s disponibilizam também Marketplace 24 horas, acessível e multilíngue, possibilitando a compra ou reserva a qualquer altura do dia.
Atualmente, os equipamentos encontram-se em fase de instalação e as plataformas digitais a finalizar o desenvolvimento.
O Bairro Comercial Digital da Nazaré representa um passo importante para a modernização do comércio local, valorizando a economia do conselho e reforçando a Nazaré como destino turístico de excelência.

TOMI will implement the Cascais Digital Commercial Neighborhood
Among the equipment developed by TOMI, the TOMIs stand out, providing real-time information in a multilingual, accessible, and interactive way. This equipment offers multiple functionalities: it promotes local commerce, publicizes local events and news, supports mobility, allows users to take photos and GIFs, conduct surveys with TOMI Survey, explore itineraries and collections, and collect and provide audience and interaction data through TOMI Analytics.
The neighborhood will also feature INFOSPOT, an innovative urban communication device aimed at highway travelers and public transport users, with features tailored to the respective context, such as indicating available parking spaces nearby and providing directions and distances, the next buses arriving at the desired destination, warnings and alerts, promotional campaigns, dissemination and direction to local events and points of interest on time, and dissemination of multimedia content. Another important addition will be TOMI Lockers, which allow for the delivery and collection of parcels in a practical and secure manner, available 24 hours a day. This equipment also offers the possibility of using an address outside the home, allowing users to receive parcels at a TOMI Locker and collect them at a time that suits them best. In addition, they offer the rental of drawers for storing objects.
On the digital front, TOMI will develop the Cascais Marketplace, which will function as an online showcase for local commerce, facilitating the purchase of products and services. To complement this, a mobile application (App) will be created, allowing users to access the Marketplace, receive relevant notifications, and explore the village commercial and cultural offerings in an even more practical way.
With this initiative, Cascais is preparing to take an important step in the digital transition of local commerce, investing in solutions that integrate technology, convenience, and proximity. TOMI thus reinforces its role as a strategic partner in the digital transformation of territories.

In addition, they offer several extra features: taking photos and GIFs, conducting surveys through TOMI Survey, accessing guides and thematic collections about the city, collecting, classifying, and providing individual and correlated audience and interaction data through TOMI Analytics, among others.
The TOMI Lockers will add further convenience by allowing the secure delivery and collection of parcels, available 24/7. These devices will also allow users to have an address outside their home, making it easier to receive packages without the need to be present at the residence, while also offering the option to rent lockers to store personal items.
As complementary solutions, the Neighborhood will also feature Infospots, which disseminate announcements, campaigns, and multimedia content, as well as smart benches, which provide comfort and functionality to users. Centralized management of all devices and platforms will be handled by the Control Room, ensuring integrated management while enabling real-time analysis of audience, interaction, and transaction data—crucial for decision-making and strategic communication.
On the digital side, TOMI is also developing the Castelo de Paiva Marketplace and the Neighborhood App, which will serve as online showcases for local products and services, while also bringing together news, events, and points of interest in the municipality. Additionally, the TOMIs will provide 24/7 access to the Marketplace, accessible, inclusive, and multilingual, allowing purchases or reservations at any time.
With this project, Castelo de Paiva is preparing to take a significant step forward in modernizing local commerce, investing in digital and technological solutions that enhance the region’s attractiveness and competitiveness. Additionally, the TOMIs provide 24/7 access to the Marketplace, in multiple languages, allowing for purchases or reservations at any time.
With the Digital Commercial Neighborhood of Soure, the municipality takes a decisive step in modernizing local commerce, strengthening its attractiveness and competitiveness. Cinfães Digital Commercial Neighborhood is active with TOMI technology
