(English) 6 recognitions for TOMI in the smart cities area in 2018
TOMI is at the forefront of smart cities, and we have been recognized in several contexts in 2018. We have received four awards so far: E-Gov (granted by World’s Smart Cities Organization), InnovaCity (by Smart City Business America), Smart 50 Award (by Smart Cities Connect) and the Smart Cities UK Award.
TOMI was also selected to showcase its innovation solution in two main smart cities conferences.

E-Gov Smart Cities Award

TOMI received the first place in the Global Smart Cities Contest, from the World’s Smart City Organization (WSCO), in the category of E-Gov. The winning project was the implementation of public services in TOMI, created in partnership with the Agency for Administrative Modernization (AMA). With this functionality in TOMI, it is possible to access services present in the central administration, such as the citizens’ bureau, making them more accessible and comfortable for those who need it.
InnovaCity Award

TOMI was recognized again with an international smart cities award: the InnovaCity, awarded by the Smart City Business America Institute (SCBA), which develops the main event of smart cities in Latin America. The InnovaCity award recognizes TOMI’s work in making Rio de Janeiro a smarter city, by helping to improve its functioning and its quality of life.

TOMI won the Smart Cities UK Awards, in the connectivity category. TOMI’s impact on improving digital engagement for citizens or users was acknowledged as the 2018’s key innovative project that can change communities across the UK.The Smart Cities UK 2018 Conference, Expo and Awards took place in London on February 1st and addressed the best practice examples on the smart transformation from across Cities within the United Kingdom.
