For the third year in a row, Rock in Rio had TOMI to provide information and intelligent services in the festival.
The edition of the festival, which was held on June 23rd, 24th, 29th and 30th, in the Parque da Bela Vista, counted on the TOMI to help the visitors to have fun and to inform themselves. Seven TOMI have been installed in the City of Rock at strategic points, providing useful and up-to-date information about the festival to its visitors, including timings, biographies of bands, and more.
For the CEO of TOMI WORLD, José Agostinho, the partnership with Rock in Rio is an added value:
“The Rock in Rio-Lisboa is a real city, and TOMI is able to provide all the information and services that visitors need. The festival and TOMI provide a more interactive experience, helping to reinforce the festival’s Smart City of Rock concept. ”
At the festival, TOMI has four main modules (News, Agenda, Search and Transport), similar to the TOMI installed in the streets.
In the News, TOMI provides up-to-date information on the bands and artists of the festival. In the Agenda, the line-up of the festival is presented, with all the concerts taking place on the various stages.
In the Search module, there is an interactive map with all points of interest of the venue, from stages, feeding areas, access areas for people with reduced mobility, ATMs, etc. In the transport section, visitors have access to the best routes to return home.
Visitors can also take selfies and GIFs in TOMI, to remember the festival with thematic frames of Rock in Rio.
TOMI was present at the last edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa in 2016 and was a great success. More recently, it was also present in the edition of Rio de Janeiro showing its versatility to be implemented in any city in the world.
