TOMI was distinguished as an innovator in the area of smart cities within the context of Evolve Arena Norway. This is Norway's most important meeting point for urban development and new mobility.
TOMI showcased at Evolve Arena 2018 / Conference and Expo on December 5 and 6, 2018.
Evolve Arena is a conference/trade fair event dedicated to urban development, mobility, and smart cities in Norway.
The event was launched by the organization Norges Varemesse (Norwegian Trade Fair & Convention Center) around 2018.
The proposal is to be a “møteplass” (meeting place) where the public, private sector, startups, municipal authorities, and urban planning experts come together to explore how the cities of the future will develop.
The main objectives of the event include:
- Promoting dialogue and collaboration between various sectors (urban planning, mobility, health, circular economy, technology) for sustainable urban development.
- Presenting and demonstrating practical innovations in the context of cities and urban spaces—for example, solutions that apply technology, smart mobility, urban design, and sustainability.
- Serving as a platform for launching and sharing ideas, projects, and case studies.
- Fostering partnerships between the public and private sectors, between municipalities, urban planners, technology companies, and citizens, to make cities more efficient, inclusive, connected, and sustainable.
